Daily Dose: “Escape” by “The Toxic Avenger” (L.A. Riots Remix)
Toxic Avenger (A.K.A Simon DeLacroix) doesn’t come up a lot on my radar a lot… but when he does… its pretty awesome. Click through to listen.
I love this track and its always a success on the floor – which maybe is one of the reasons I love it.
It has a progressive start that moves quickly from simple bass to high synths to vocals to a wavey-wonky-baseline break ending in a dope drop.
Its a DJ wet-dream to mix, plays well with loads of other tracks and has enough energy to bring the hangers-on on the sides onto the floor and well… dance i suppose.

L.A. Riots are a name to watch out for. As per JFK of MSTRKRFT:
