The man behind Scream! the breakthrough Hong Kong indie-electro club night and one half of husband and wife DJ tag team boy-v-girl, Asim is a DJ and promoter hailing from Manchester, UK and currently residing in Hong Kong.

Since starting early 2009 Scream! has taken the HK dance scene by storm, the combination of catchy electro basslines with the raw energy of indie-dance all tempered with popy vocals and synth fuelled madness grabbed the attention of weary HK party goers. Crossing the traditional genre barriers Scream! has attracted a diverse fanbase from both the mainstream and underground scenes with equal passion.

With support from the local media in less than a year the club night grew to become a staple in the Hong Kong scene.

Asim started DJ’ing in 2002. After being lucky enough to live near both The Orbit (Leeds, UK) and U60311 (Frankfurt, Germany) Asims early influence was unashamedly techno however has since moved on to include the likes of Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Shinichi Osawa, Felix Da Housecat, Tiga, Crystal Castles, Vitalic, Boys Noize, Crookers, Justice, Digitalism, Sebastien Tellier, Soulwax and many more…
